The Mineralogical Society of Great Britain and Ireland and Cambridge announce partnership

The Mineralogical Society of Great Britain and Ireland and Cambridge University Press are pleased to announce the formation of a new publishing partnership beginning in January 2018. The Society's journals, Mineralogical Magazine and Clay Minerals, will join Cambridge's world-leading Earth and Environmental Sciences publishing programme.
Mineralogical Magazine is an international journal of mineral sciences, published six times per year, which covers the fields of mineralogy, crystallography, geochemistry, petrology, environmental geology and economic geology. Clay Minerals is an international journal of fine-particle science, published four times a year, and includes research papers about clays, clay minerals and related materials, natural or synthetic.?
Kevin Murphy, Executive Director of the Mineralogical Society of Great Britain and Ireland, commented: 'The Mineralogical Society is delighted to partner with Cambridge University Press for publication of its journals. The Executive Committee and Council of the Society recognize the many vital elements which Cambridge can provide in support of Mineralogical Magazine and Clay Minerals and look forward to reaching a larger and more cross-disciplinary audience.'
